The Portuguese Industrial Association - Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AIP-CCI), is organizing in 1 and 2 October 2018, in Lisbon, the conference “Latin American Perspectives in the economic Dynamics with Europe and CPLP”.
This initiative will bring together the entrepreneurs of 23 countries and the main topics for discussion will be: “Portugal Business Platform – Europe, Latin America and CPLP: Challenges presented?”, “Lisbon and Miami: Tourism and International Business – Models of Development”.
Also, arbitration will have a significant role as a theme of discussion in parallel sessions of the Conference, under the panels: “Overview of arbitration in Portugal and CPLP Countries” and “Technology in International Arbitration”.
The Chairman of the Board of ARBITRARE, Joana Borralho de Gouveia, will be one of the key speakers on the panel concerning arbitration, where she will introduce ARBITRARE, focusing on practical aspects of arbitration in arbitral proceedings filed within the scope of the Centre.
This conference takes place in the course of the general meeting of the Ibero-American Chamber of Commerce (AICO) and the annual meeting of the Interamerican Commission for Commercial Arbitration (CIAC).
