EUIPO AND INPI PROMOTE WEBINAR ON THE TRADEMARK DIRECTIVE

On the 10th of November, the Portuguese National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) will promote a webinar on the Trademark Directive in collaboration with the ECP7 project, European Cooperation Projects.

Under the auspices of the European Union Intellectual Property Office, this webinar aims to address topics related to the Trademark Directive.

This Directive contains provisions that reinforce the approximation of the laws of the Member States of the European Union on trade marks with regard to substantive and procedural issues.

The session, under the responsibility of the INPI, will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (CET) with the following programme:

- The conflict between trademarks and Geographical Indications (PDO/IGP) by Sílvia Lourenço.

- Well known and Prestigious Trademarks by Ana Cristina Fernandes.

- Opposition procedure, (NTT, CM) by Sara Osório.
