INPI PROMOTES CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY AND SDG

The Portuguese National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Institute (EUIPO), organizes, on the 29th and 30th of May 2023, the International Conference “Reflecting on Industrial Property, Sustainability and the Future of the Planet.”

The event will discuss the importance of the Industrial Property System as a vehicle for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

National and international participants will be present, namely the heads of the IP Institutes of the Member States of the EPO, the EUIPO, the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries and the Ibero-American Program of Industrial Property, as well as members of the Government, the private sector and of the Academy.

Throughout the program there will be sharing, debate and commitment on the essential role that Industrial Property has in transforming the Sustainable Development Goals into reality.
