NEW .PT RULES
The new .pt Registration Rules come into force today, following the review process promoted by .PT.
A public consultation period was held between 7 and 28 April 2026, during which comments and suggestions were gathered from various stakeholders, including ARBITRARE – Arbitration Centre for Industrial Property, Domain Names, Trade Names and Corporate Names.
This revision reinforces .PT commitment to transparency and the continuous improvement of the .pt domain name registration system, to ensure it meets users' needs and evolves with the digital landscape.
